Innovative ink chemistry is at the core of Xennia’s business. We are expert in a wide range of ink types and chemistries including UV cure, solvent, aqueous and hot melt inks for pigment dye based colorants, as well as for many different functional materials. Xennia has particular expertise in creating ink formulations for unusual or difficult materials and is arguably the world leader in this field. We have developed a number of innovative formulation approaches that allow us to create chemically stable dispersions for the most challenging materials.
Our ability to design and formulate chemically stable dispersions, together with our state of the art ink management technology, means that we can successfully implement inkjet solutions using materials that most other companies would not consider jetting. These unique capabilities have enabled Xennia to create a number of breakthrough inkjet products. Xennia’s ink formulation service creates reliable inks with defined functional properties, based either on our own extensive library of materials or our customers’ proprietary materials of choice. Inks can be taken all the way from initial laboratory scale to supply of full production volumes through our product subsidiary, XenJet.
