Inkjet print software controlling all system modules
XenJet Cygnus print software provides OEM and machine building customers with a powerful solution able to manage print jobs, print variable images & data and manage all parts of the inkjet printing system from a single integrated interface.
Flexible software architecture
XenJet Cygnus print software provides a flexible, modular approach to the design and implementation of inkjet printing systems. Cygnus can be configured to manage all parts of the inkjet printing system, including the print engine, fluid controllers, motion system and UV lamps.
Powerful print software
XenJet Cygnus takes the image file to be printed (in a variety of image formats) and any variable data and/or images (used for printing barcodes, serial numbers and other items that change from print to print) as its input. The Cygnus print engine driver handles the incorporation of variable data into each printed image, along with raster image processing (RIP), screening, colour profiling and creation of the appropriate print swaths for output to the Cygnus print engine. Cygnus can use up to 8 process colours as standard, and can also support up to 8 optional spot colours.
Manages all modules of the inkjet system
The Cygnus printer manager controls and monitors the entire print system, including the print engine, PLC, fluid controllers, motion controllers and all other system modules. Cygnus is operated from a sophisticated graphical user interface (GUI) which allows access for monitoring and control of each of the components of the system.
Robust inkjet module with flexible options
XenJet Cygnus print software is supplied as a robust, production-ready package including a standard GUI, printer manager, print engine driver and drivers for the other major inkjet modules. Optional upgrades for variable data handling, DXF/Gerber file input and spot colour handling are also available, along with drivers for additional components of the system.
Facilitates OEM implementation of inkjet systems
XenJet Cygnus is available for integration into printing systems by OEMs who have access and expertise in a particular sector and would like to deliver a world-beating inkjet printing system into new markets.
