Xennia Aquamarine
Full colour rigid box packaging printer
The Xennia Aquamarine is a flexible, digital printing system designed to enable economic printing of rigid packaging in short customised and personalised runs.
Ideal for rigid industrial package printing
The Aquamarine prints logos, images and barcodes onto the vertical sides of a broad range of industrial packaging such as EPS chill boxes, PP or HDPE bottle crates, returnable transit packs, plastic trays and other closed loop and transit packaging. The system comprises two print modules configured to provide full colour single pass vertical printing onto opposite sides of the package with print widths of up to 120 mm (4.7 in) and a linear speed of up to 40 m/min (130 ft/min).
Integrated printing system with flexible options
The Xennia Aquamarine is supplied as a self contained unit comprising a package transport system, one or two print modules (to print on one or both sides of the package), fluid control system, optional UV curing stations, control electronics and PC. The print system can be supplied as a stand-alone unit or integrated into pack production or filling lines.
Intuitive printing and real-time customisation
Powerful integrated XenJet print software allows users to print images simply using an intuitive interface. Variable data and images can be supported to allow full colour real-time customisation down to a batch size of one, including full support for 1D and 2D barcodes.
Maximum performance with UV cure inks
The Xennia Aquamarine is recommended for use with Xennia’s high performance XenInx Diamond UV cure ink. Using Diamond, the printer delivers excellent print quality with good adhesion and durability onto a wide range of non-porous substrates. This ink offers high levels of chemical and abrasion resistance and UV light fastness. Xennia also offers the facility to develop customised inks to meet specific application or substrate requirements.
